Jonathan O’Hara Gallery specializes in the resale of Modern and Contemporary Masters and in particular, the work of Alexander Calder and Robert Rauschenberg.

Jonathan O’Hara, Director, received his B.A. in Art History from Skidmore College in 1982 and subsequently completed a yearlong post-graduate comprehensive survey of Art History at Sotheby’s London from 1982-1983. After London, Jonathan returned to New York and took a job working for the James Goodman Gallery until 1985.

Jonathan O’Hara was a founder and partner in Lang & O’Hara Gallery in Soho New York from 1985 – 1992 where he represented a number of highly successful contemporary artists including John Bowman, Emily Cheng, Vincent Desiderio, Robin Hill, Tad Wiley and others. Lang & O’Hara represented both artists on the primary market and works by Modern & Contemporary masters on the secondary market. After Lang & O’Hara Gallery, Jonathan joined his family business, O’Hara Gallery, located in the Fuller Building at 41 East 57th Street, where he served as a principal of the Gallery until 2005.
